A variety of events are offered year round on Main Street in historic downtown Crestview, hosted by a number of organizations including the Main Street Crestview Association. Below are listed just a few. When available we have linked to pertinent websites or included downloadable pdf registration forms. Events are always subject to change. How We Began: Becoming the County Seat
Jim Moore, local story teller, acting as Wayne Mapoles, details the circumstances and pitfalls involved in the creation of Okaloosa County and the selection of the county seat, in a scenario of the times. January 22 - 7pm, January 23 - 2pm, Warriors Hall. Free refreshments.
Dance through the Decades
Dance through the decades at a Gala Ball being held at the newly renovated 1960's location, 544 Main Street, the Elegant Vue Event Center -- to celebrate the Centennial in true style! February 13, 7pm, tickets $30 single, $50 couple. Music by Cheryl Jones, catering by Mary Richard, with a cash bar.
South Stage Entertainment
Enjoy varied entertainment on the Centennial Stage of the Triple B on South Main Street on March 19th. Music and other features from the decades will bring both fun and memories for all ages at this all-day event beginning at 10:00am in Historic Downtown Crestview.

Honoring the Military at Spanish Trail Park on Stillwell Avenue
For all our Military Forces and their families who have called Okaloosa County, and Crestview in particular, their home for the most of the Centennial century, Main Street Crestview Association, on behalf of the CRA, will be a Centennial Sponsor of the MARC on Armed Forces Day, May 21 at Spanish Trail Park.
Revive the 'good ole days'
Food, games, fun and old-time frolic will help picnic-goers to relive the simple pleasures of an old-fashioned picnic at Twin Hills Park. Time to be announced. A city fireworks show will follow at dark.
Spirits of Crestview
This is a busy month with a new event for Crestview to start it off. A guided walk through Historic Downtown Crestview to see and hear what goes on in the spirit world. A fun tour for adults. Mark your calendar, you wont want to miss this one! More details will be available soon.
Fall Festival on October 29 will have something for everyone, including a few new features and a costume contest just for the kids. It's free and the festival is being held in downtown Crestview on Main Street 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Vendors regirstration forms will be available soon.
Honoring all Services, all Wars
The Veterans' Day Parade, held on the exact date of the World War I Armistice signing is joyous, but serious, joyous in pride of all of our Military Veterans who have nobly served our country, and serious in its respect and commemoration of those who died in all wars from 1915 to present day. It is held on Main Street in historic downtown Crestview at 10:00 am. A laying of a wreath dedication ceremony immediately follows the parade at the Veterans Memorial located near the Crestview Okaloosa County Courthouse.
Christmas Through the Decades
As the Crestview Centennial year draws to a close, the final celebration is for the merriest season of all. The annual Christmas Parade Theme for 2016 will be "Christmas Through the Decades" of 1916-2016, with a new feature or two earlier in the day. The parade begins at 5:30pm. Parade entry applications will be available soon
